Overview
Current bus timetables are static and don’t account for traffic. This means people waiting at bus stops have no idea when their bus will actually arrive.

My idea is to install trackers on all busses in Milton Keynes so that their location can be tracked. This information can be shared with people at bus stops so that they know the exact location of the bus and it’s estimated time of arrival. This makes the bus stops more like railway stations.
The location information could also be displayed online so that people don’t waste time waiting at bus stops by leaving their houses later.
