No one has any information on how the redway system is used. This makes the placing of facilities and the running of maintenance difficult.

By placing monitors and sensors on the redways we can generate data about usage. This could include how often a route is used and the average speed of cycles. This data would be made freely available to anyone who wants to use it. For example, it could be used by the council to support maintenance work and by local businesses to decide where to place facilities (e.g. cafes).
